About This Work
This piece is one of a series using photography to create images of parts
of the body as if seen through gauze, thereby creating a shadowy, passing
effect. The original photographs were then treated and made into screenprints
to further enhance the impressionistic effect of the graceful movement
of a dancer's gesture, the slightly sepia/charcoal colouring adding
to the antique quality of the print. Seen in the original print, the images
in this series are particularly striking.

2005-2006, and is currently working on commission and purchase works
